Abstract

When I received the invitation to write an editorial about the Romanian perspective on the SARS CoV 2 pandemics, I instantly knew that George Santayana’s quote: “Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it” would be most apt to describe the Pan-European approach against this global epidemiological crisis.

English Abstract

Cuando recibí la invitación para escribir un editorial sobre la perspectiva rumana sobre las pandemias del SARS-CoV-2, supe al instante que el dicho de George Santayana: "Aquellos que olvidan el pasado están condenados a repetirlo", sería más adecuado para describir el enfoque paneuropeo frente a esta crisis epidemiológica mundial.
